We have a ball grinder that we can program to grind inside a tube. We can select the radius of the endentions and the number around the radius, as well as the frequency in length. The first thing necessary is to examine the frequencies that exit the car's exhaust. Some will be more offensive than others, so we'll look at the wavelengths of those we want to cancel. The diameter, number and placement of the dimples in the PVC tip are patterened to cause reflected wavelengths to cancel others, so there's very little loss in energy. There've been many programs over the years where people have done similar things and it's safe to say that in the near future, cars will have no mufflers and no restrictions. Now, I'll wait all afternoon to get this message up. Something's really wrong here or on the IR Board. I've never seen anything so slow.
