The boost will indeed be variable, however, the best part is that no
pulleys need to change, and unless you put your foot in it during an emisions
inspection, your engine will be in a non boost mode and running naturally
aspirated. We achieve stock and sometimes slightly better than the rules
call for on emissions #'s in both drive cycle and static type inspection
testing. For real performance up grades (race only) you'll be able to enrichen
the mixture to optimum mixtures by simply flipping a switch and then turning
a knob to the desired setting. No reprogramming and lap top tuning or even
dyno time. We're building it so it's very "understandable", and although
we are integrating some electronics with mechanical components, the system
is dead nuts on in both accuracy and dependability.
